Welcome to the website for Heath Hayes Academy! This website is designed to give you a flavour of life at our school and a clearer understanding of what we do and how we do it.
We are a one form entry primary school based in Cannock that welcomes children from Reception to Year 6 and we firmly believe that we are on an ever learning journey, The Hero’s Journey!
We are very fortunate to have Cannock Chase right on our doorstep, a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our aim, as a school, is to inspire and enable each child to achieve their full potential. Promoting well-being is of high importance to us to create a happy, safe school environment.
Our Hero’s Adventure Curriculum enriches the learning of children through a range of exciting experiences which promote curiosity and a love of learning. Parents have extremely high confidence in the work of the school and are supportive of all that staff do to help their children thrive.

What a fantastic busy few days we have had in Forest Holiday Heroes! The children have had a blast, cooking on the fire, chopping fire wood, using hammers, screw drivers, axes and bill hooks! The children have helped to build the chicken coop ready for our new arrivals 🐥 Thank you to the wonderful staff who have given up their own time to give our children fabulous opportunities. Happy summer holidays😊

We would like to share a huge congratulations to all of our wonderful Year 6 cohort who finished with us this July. We are so incredibly proud of everything, each and every one of them achieved, and know they will continue to do wonderful things! Well done, Cohort 2024!
