Welcome to Heath Hayes Academy!

I am delighted to welcome you to our vibrant and inclusive school community. At Heath Hayes Academy, we believe that every child deserves a rich and supportive learning environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Guided by our core values of being Open, Kind, Brave, and Believe, we create a culture where children feel empowered to explore their full potential.

Our Vision

At Heath Hayes, we aim to create a caring, supportive environment where all children feel safe, valued, and connected. We provide consistent support for children facing emotional, relational, and communication challenges, respecting their rights regardless of race, gender, religion, or ability. Our focus on spiritual, moral, emotional, and psychological well-being ensures that children can seek help and express themselves freely. Through positive reinforcement, we acknowledge effort, achievement, and good choices, fostering respect, motivation, and a growth mindset. We believe that all behavior communicates needs, and we strive to support every child in managing their emotions thoughtfully and constructively.

Our vision is to empower every child to become a confident, compassionate, and resilient individual who is ready to face the future. By embracing a culture of openness, kindness, bravery, and belief, we aim to foster lifelong learners who are not only academically capable but also equipped with the character and values to lead fulfilling, purposeful lives.

We are committed to fostering a space where openness encourages curiosity, kindness builds strong, respectful relationships, and bravery inspires our students to tackle new challenges with confidence. Most importantly, we nurture a strong belief in each child’s ability to succeed and make a positive difference in the world.

As part of REAch2 Multi Academy Trust, Heath Hayes Academy benefits from being part of a wider family of 62 schools, all working towards the shared goal of ‘always aiming higher’ for children. Collaboration and innovation across the trust enables us to draw upon a wealth of expertise and resources, ensuring that we provide the very best for our pupils. By working together, we are able to create innovative and effective approaches to teaching and learning, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Together with our dedicated staff and supportive families, we strive to provide an enriching educational journey where every child is valued, encouraged, and inspired. We look forward to working with you to make your child’s experience at Heath Hayes Academy truly remarkable.

I believe our school is very special and would welcome you to come and meet us!

This week Reception have learnt all about Bonfire night 🎆Through our story of the week Look Up by Nathan Byron, we learnt the importance of looking up and what things we might see when we do, especially at this time of the year. We investigated listening to fireworks and described the beautiful colours and patterns they make. We talked about how we can stay safe when watching fireworks and using sparklers. We then became artist by making our own vibrant fireworks through using a variety of materials and through movement. Before finishing the week off in Forest school to watch a mini sparkler show.

Exciting news! This winter, we will be launching our first ever Heath Hayes Present Drive! Our wonderful school council member, Evan, was very saddened to learn that some children don't always get presents from Santa during Christmas, and wanted to do something to help- so we've come up with a solution. From Monday 10th November to Friday 5th December 2025, we will be accepting donations of presents that our school councillors will then wrap up, and donate to those less fortunate than ourselves. What better way to share the Christmas spirit? From all of us at Heath Hayes Academy, Thank you! ❄️🎅🎄🎁
