Welcome to Heath Hayes Academy!

I am delighted to welcome you to our vibrant and inclusive school community. At Heath Hayes Academy, we believe that every child deserves a rich and supportive learning environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Guided by our core values of being Open, Kind, Brave, and Believe, we create a culture where children feel empowered to explore their full potential.

Our Vision

At Heath Hayes, we aim to create a caring, supportive environment where all children feel safe, valued, and connected. We provide consistent support for children facing emotional, relational, and communication challenges, respecting their rights regardless of race, gender, religion, or ability. Our focus on spiritual, moral, emotional, and psychological well-being ensures that children can seek help and express themselves freely. Through positive reinforcement, we acknowledge effort, achievement, and good choices, fostering respect, motivation, and a growth mindset. We believe that all behavior communicates needs, and we strive to support every child in managing their emotions thoughtfully and constructively.

Our vision is to empower every child to become a confident, compassionate, and resilient individual who is ready to face the future. By embracing a culture of openness, kindness, bravery, and belief, we aim to foster lifelong learners who are not only academically capable but also equipped with the character and values to lead fulfilling, purposeful lives.

We are committed to fostering a space where openness encourages curiosity, kindness builds strong, respectful relationships, and bravery inspires our students to tackle new challenges with confidence. Most importantly, we nurture a strong belief in each child’s ability to succeed and make a positive difference in the world.

As part of REAch2 Multi Academy Trust, Heath Hayes Academy benefits from being part of a wider family of 62 schools, all working towards the shared goal of ‘always aiming higher’ for children. Collaboration and innovation across the trust enables us to draw upon a wealth of expertise and resources, ensuring that we provide the very best for our pupils. By working together, we are able to create innovative and effective approaches to teaching and learning, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Together with our dedicated staff and supportive families, we strive to provide an enriching educational journey where every child is valued, encouraged, and inspired. We look forward to working with you to make your child’s experience at Heath Hayes Academy truly remarkable.

I believe our school is very special and would welcome you to come and meet us!

We'd like to announce that the winner our Big Bounce Prize is Jody Alanthwaite, who left a heartwarming review of our wonderful school.''We were thrilled when our children got places at Heath Hayes Academy, as parents we loved the school when we visited for an open evening. The school has a real family feel, every teacher knows every child’s name. The staff are very happy, friendly and approachable. The staff and school only want the very best for your child. They do some lovely activities and trips along with lots of fun learning too, the school wants each child to shine and grow. We cannot fault the school and would highly recommend.''

This week, Year 2 have shown how ready they are for Year 3! In music, they learnt a song on the glockenspiel and a song with their voices linking to their adventure. They showed patience when making origami whales 🐳 For their lockers, they made positivity posters so they can start each day in Year 3 positively, and on our last day we shared lots of fun, ice lollies and treats (thank you to a couple of our generous parents for some extra goodies🍦🍬)#Year2Adventures #GrowingUp #transitionweek #reach2
