Welcome to the website for Heath Hayes Academy! This website is designed to give you a flavour of life at our school and a clearer understanding of what we do and how we do it.
We are a one form entry primary school based in Cannock that welcomes children from Reception to Year 6 and we firmly believe that we are on an ever learning journey, The Hero’s Journey!
We are very fortunate to have Cannock Chase right on our doorstep, a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our aim, as a school, is to inspire and enable each child to achieve their full potential. Promoting well-being is of high importance to us to create a happy, safe school environment.
Our Hero’s Adventure Curriculum enriches the learning of children through a range of exciting experiences which promote curiosity and a love of learning. Parents have extremely high confidence in the work of the school and are supportive of all that staff do to help their children thrive.

Today, Year 2 visited the library for our writing lesson!
We had a lovely afternoon in Year 5 dissecting flowers to see all of the different parts. We learnt all about the functions of the stigma and the stamen! 🌸🌺🐝
Miss Bird would like to say a huge well done to our wonderful Year 6's who completed their SATS today. The children have worked so hard, and Miss Bird could not be prouder of how far they've all come this year. Well done, Year 6! ☺️
